What is Club Genesis?

CLUB GENESIS is a non-profit organization striving to make a positive impact on the lives of our most precious resource... our children!

Supervised by trained adults, CLUB GENESIS emphasizes the benefits of good listening skills and good moral behavior including safety, obedience, respect, love of family, God, and country. CLUB GENESIS IS A PLACE WHERE A KID CAN BE A KID! They will feel a sense of belonging as children ages 5-12 gather together for drama, music, fun, and excitement!

What is Curbside Club Genesis?

CURBSIDE CLUB GENESIS is a weekly outdoor neighborhood event during the summer months. Commander Ray and his galactic crew promote a strong anti-crime, drug, and alcohol message. These outdoor events are supervised by trained adults, but parents are always welcome to join in on the fun! Please call (712)274-ZOOM for more information about a CURBSIDE CLUB GENESIS near you!

What happens at Club Genesis?

Kids come from all over Siouxland each week on the CLUB GENESIS shuttle buses to board the space ship "OMEGA CRAFT" for a high-flying adventure through time and space. Commander Ray and his crew of astronauts and droids partner with the children of CLUB GENESIS to triumph in the battle of good vs. evil.

Each space adventure will provide

about 1 1/2 hours of sheer excitement as outer space characters, laser lights, sound effects, contemporary music, and thrilling activities produce an atmosphere of fun and expectancy. The children will have the opportunity to assist the crew of the OMEGA CRAFT and win fabulous candy and prizes, while learning a healthy, life-altering message each week.

What does Club Genesis cost?

NOTHING! That's right! CLUB GENESIS is absolutely FREE.

Prizes, candy, and awards are donated by caring community volunteers committed to providing a place of safety, fun, and entertainment. Commander Ray and his crew members volunteer their time and efforts as role models to provide wholesome weekly entertainment for your children.

When and where does Club Genesis meet?

CLUB GENESIS meets every Saturday at 11:00 A.M. and every Sunday at 8:30 A.M. & 11:00 A.M. at the Oneighty Center, located at 1603 Glen Ellen Road, Sioux City.

How can my child be involved?

It's easy as 1, 2, 3! With parental/legal guardian request, CLUB GENESIS will provide safe, free, supervised transportation for your child(ren) every Saturday to and from the OMEGA CRAFT. All you have to do is call the CLUB GENESIS HOTLINE at (712)274-ZOOM, and a CLUB GENESIS coordinator will do the rest!

To request free shuttle services, please print, complete, and sign the form available here. Children MUST present this completed form to the bus attendant BEFORE departure or place the completed form in an envelope and mail to:

In the event of inclement weather during a scheduled Club Genesis event, please call (712)274-ZOOM for cancellation information.

If the announced temperature is ZERO OR BELOW, the shuttle services WILL NOT run.

If the wind chill is 25 DEGREES BELOW ZERO OR LOWER, the shuttle services WILL NOT run.
