Katy Gordon
Katy Gordon was privileged to be raised in a Christian home in small town
Iowa, where her family attended a church with a strong children’s
ministry. She was saved and spirit-filled at a young age and served the
Lord passionately through her teen years. After high school she moved to
Italy to nanny her niece and nephew and attend Domata Italy Bible School.
While there, a guest minister from the States shared on the importance of
ministry to children and Katy’s heart was stirred. She moved to Tulsa,
Oklahoma to intern under this children’s pastor and serve in the
children’s church. She also attended Domata School of Missions, and one
year later moved to Bangkok, Thailand, to focus on child evangelism. She
spent nearly two years on the mission field leading a church’s children’s
ministry, and conducting weekly park outreaches and evangelism in
elementary schools and orphanages.
