MINISTRIES Community Outreach Ministry in Motion: Cornerstone has a very large bus ministry, and part of this ministry includes home visitation to each family with one or more children attending Club Genesis. This outreach takes place each Wednesday. Financial Training
Financial Peace University: Ministry to Men Men of Integrity: Be on the alert for activities that will strengthen your ties with the men of Cornerstone. In the past, our gentlemen have gone on Promise Keeper trips, hunting outings, and golf exhibitions. You never know what to expect from our mighty men! Men meet for Bible study and prayer the first and third Saturday of each month and power-packed prayer every Wednesday at 7:00 pm. Ministry to Adults Wednesday Word at Work: This is an opportunity for the adults to network and build quality relationships that will stand through the trials of life. Adults meet every Wednesday evening at 7:00 pm for Bible study and prayer. Ministry to Addicts The Link - a 12-step Christ-centered recovery program for people struggling with addictions of all types. Ministry to the Aged Nursing Home Ministry: Cornerstone visits many nursing homes in Siouxland and the surrounding communities. Through the years, thousands have been born again because of the faithful people who take the saving gospel of Jesus Christ to the elderly. Adult Education Cornerstone recommends Peacemakers School of Theology K - 12 Education PeaceMakers Academy: CWO is proud to underwrite and support a private Christian school for Pre-K through Grade 12. PMA focuses on teaching and encouraging the whole child to grow spiritually, advance in wisdom and knowledge, and enjoy the fellowship of others. Our goal at PMA is to raise up students who walk in the truth and light of God’s Word and who are academically strong. College Outreach Shammah! is the wake-up call to young adults who have slipped through the cracks – a place where post high school young people can come together to find a restored sense of purpose, a restored spiritual hunger and have a restored place of belonging. Ministry to Singles If you are single and looking for fun and fellowship, this is your answer! Singles meet bi-weekly for a fantastic time with God and each other. Check the bulletin for upcoming events. Children of All Ages The Aquarium: “Where Children Grow-Up to Be Fishers of Men!” Junior Genesis: is a program much like Club Genesis but geared toward the younger children. Kids have a grand time learning and discovering the truth of the Bible at their age level. Club Genesis: Is A Place Where A Kid Can Be A Kid! Supervised by trained adults, Club Genesis emphasizes the benefits of good listening skills and good moral behavior including safety, obedience, respect, love of family, God and country. They will feel a sense of belonging as children ages 5-12 gather together on the space ship “OMEGA 1” for drama, music, fun and excitement! The children have the opportunity to assist the crew of the OMEGA 1 to triumph in the battle of good vs. evil. They win fabulous CANDY & PRIZES while learning a healthy life-altering message each week. Oneighty: is Cornerstone’s on-fire, radical group of teens (Grades 6-12) who meet every Wednesday evening at 6:00 p.m. for youth-oriented services and fellowship at The Oneighty Center. Pastor Chace Gordon, the Director of Oneighty, mixes truth with humor. He speaks to the real-life issues that we all face every day. He knows what it takes to make the turn.
